Internet talk-show with the protagonists of scientific research in Milan
Wednesday November 6th, from 6 to 8 pm
Urban Center, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Milano, MI 20123, Italy
Milan is at the core of Italian scientific research. Every day its universities and research centers work with European institutes in range of international projects. Together with fashion industry and design, research is thus an excellence that connect the city to the rest of the world and may represent a relevant incentive for the relaunch of the whole Country. Meanwhile, however, some important research centers are forced to close or reshape, whilst contrasting news raise concerns about public funds for health and basic research.
The event will be the occasion to present a study from Scienceonthenet about the degree of internalization of the resarch that comes from Milan. Such an overview may allow to identify new strategies for the development and the strengthening of the scientific and technologic endowment of the city.
