An event entitled 'Horizon 2020: An introduction' will be held on 12 November 2013 in Cambridge, UK. Horizon 2020, the EU's new funding programme for research and innovation will be launched at the end of 2013. With a budget of over EUR 70bn for the seven year period to 2020, it represents a significant source of support for research and innovation. This workshop will provide an overview of the new programme: its scope, budget, rules and procedures, as well as identifying the interest groups to watch. The workshop is specifically aimed at newcomers to EU research and innovation funding whether they are from industry, universities or local government.

The Wpath guidelines essentially constitute a set of clinical guidelines, based on the best available scientific studies and professional expertise, with the purpose of educating and guiding health care professionals and programs, internationally.
