MEETme TONIGHT “Researchers’ Night 2013”

After last year's success, "MEETme TONIGHT, Researchers’ Night" - the initiative organized by Polytechnic of Milan, University of Milan, University of Milan-Bicocca, The City of Milan and several other institutional and academic organizations - will be replicated on September 27th 2013, from 10 am to 12 pm at Giardini "Indro Montanelli" in Via Palestro, Milan.

The event falls within the project "Researchers' Night", promoted by the European Commission, which, in the last nine years, led researchers and institutions from more than 300 cities throughout Europe to bring research out of the laboratories, in order to involve citizens in new and stimulating ways.

The event is free and will involve eight other cities: Como, Lecco, Brescia, Mantova, Pavia, Lodi, Monza e Varese. Also, it will be linked with the "Open Night" at the National Museum for Science and Technology "Leonardo da Vinci", from 6 pm to 12 pm.

ScienceontheNet will be media partner of the event.

The event will also include two initiatives:

The second edition of the "MEETme TONIGHT Music Festival"
, open to researchers and students from all over Europe and presented by Francesco Facchinetti. Participation is free and the winner will be awarded with two days in a recording studio. The deadline for sending the songs is September 16th at 6 pm. For more details: www.meetmetonight.it
