The LET’S 2014 Conference will bring together 1000 delegates from private and public research, SMEs, industry and policy in the fields of nanotechnology, biotechnology, advanced materials, manufacturing and processing.

The event will provide valuable opportunities to network, find new partners and collaborations, and keep up-to-date with the cutting-edge research, industrial news and innovation in Europe and beyond.

The main focus of the event is exploring the role of the Key Enabling Technologies in facing the Societal Challenges pinpointed by Horizon 2020.

Together with more than 100 speakers following five thematic tracks, we will explore innovative, cross-cutting points of view at the forefront of European research and technology and will create a vision for a new European Renaissance.

Even in the face of the vast Los Angeles wildfires—still ongoing—as in other recent circumstances, the media's attention is primarily focused on the most immediate and “proximal” causes: the malfunctioning of the power grid, insufficient water reserves, the unpreparedness of newly hired firefighters, and so on.
