Leading Enabling Technologies for Societal Challenges

The LET’S 2014 Conference will bring together 1000 delegates from private and public research, SMEs, industry and policy in the fields of nanotechnology, biotechnology, advanced materials, manufacturing and processing.

The event will provide valuable opportunities to network, find new partners and collaborations, and keep up-to-date with the cutting-edge research, industrial news and innovation in Europe and beyond.

The main focus of the event is exploring the role of the Key Enabling Technologies in facing the Societal Challenges pinpointed by Horizon 2020.

Together with more than 100 speakers following five thematic tracks, we will explore innovative, cross-cutting points of view at the forefront of European research and technology and will create a vision for a new European Renaissance.

Nature Restoration Law: We Approve the Law for the Future of European Nature

On the upcoming July 12, the European Parliament will decide the fate of one of the most ambitious initiatives in support of European nature, the Nature Restoration Law, a legislative proposal aimed at restoring European natural habitats. Now more than ever, it is crucial to defend this law and push for its approval.

In Italy, the Manifesto for the Nature Restoration Law has been published, an initiative that has so far received the support of over 150 associations, 4,000 scientists, dozens of large companies, and over one million signatures from individual citizens (here is the registration form).
