The LET’S 2014 Conference will bring together 1000 delegates from private and public research, SMEs, industry and policy in the fields of nanotechnology, biotechnology, advanced materials, manufacturing and processing.

The event will provide valuable opportunities to network, find new partners and collaborations, and keep up-to-date with the cutting-edge research, industrial news and innovation in Europe and beyond.

The main focus of the event is exploring the role of the Key Enabling Technologies in facing the Societal Challenges pinpointed by Horizon 2020.

Together with more than 100 speakers following five thematic tracks, we will explore innovative, cross-cutting points of view at the forefront of European research and technology and will create a vision for a new European Renaissance.

There has been, and continues to be, much talk about the "Indi Gregory Case." Indi was an eight-month-old baby suffering from a severe, and so far fatal, rare disease. More specifically, Indi was affected by D,L-2-hydroxyglutaric aciduria: a genetic disease with autosomal recessive inheritance caused by defects in the SLC25A1 gene.
